Objective

To reduce potable water demand and enhance drought resilience, the West Bay Sanitary District partnered with the Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club to develop a new recycled water facility and distribution system. Delivered through a Design-Build contract led by Anderson Pacific, the project produces high-quality recycled water for golf course irrigation and nearby landscaping.

Challenge

The project required integrating treatment, pumping, and storage facilities within a tightly constrained golf course site, surrounded by active operations and residential neighborhoods. Anderson Pacific led the design-build team, managing all civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process design elements while coordinating with multiple agencies for permits and approvals. Maintaining aesthetics, minimizing noise, and ensuring reliable system performance were key priorities throughout design and construction.

Results

Anderson Pacific successfully delivered a turnkey recycled water facility that provides up to 0.4 million gallons per day of tertiary-treated water using advanced filtration and disinfection systems. The project was completed on schedule and within budget, meeting all performance testing requirements and seamlessly integrating into the surrounding landscape. As the design-build lead, Anderson Pacific guided the project from concept through commissioning—delivering a sustainable, community-focused water reuse solution for the West Bay Sanitary District and Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club.
